Much like all the other -land communities out there, this one is for WB shows - Dawson's Creek, Charmed, Gilmore Girls and Roswell. You pick one of the four shows to be part of that team and gather points for your team through show-related challenges.

We really need Team Dawson right now!

So sign up at wb_land and mention punkfunkdisco xD

Katie Holmes ran in the NYC Marathon this past weekend, but was horrified to discover the 26-mile race ended right where it began, and Tom Cruise was still there waiting.

Josh is set to star in new movie called Fletch Won

The remake of the Chevy Chase classic Fletch has been kicked around for as long as the internet has been a festering bastion for film journalism.  Kevin Smith wanted a piece, Jason Lee wanted a taste, even Zach Braff wanted to throw some emo on it.  Yet, none of them could find a way to make it work, so, almost by default it has fallen in to the hand of Accepted (the college comedy starring about-to-be-huge Justin Long) director Steve Pink.  And who is Mr. Pink bringing with him to play the titular character?  None other than Pacey himself, Joshua Jackson.

Jackson always had a spot-on sense of comic timing in the dreckish Dawson's Creek, coming across as a real actor next to The Chin and the future Mrs. Cruise.  If this is true, the internet is not going to be happy, but Jackson is a good choice.  He's a fresh-faced scamp who could use a big picture like this to show he's got something more than the teen idol thing.

Thanks to posters over at TWOP.

Josh took part in a web-based movie that can be seen on www.Cleanmyride.com. It's a movie on energy issues put together by the Center for American Progress. It also has Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Garner, Jason Biggs and Sarah Silverman.

Haven't watched it yet because I don't currently have speakers for my computer, so if anyone else watches it, tell me what it's about :)

Also, did anyone else watch Aurora Borealis on saturday? It was on lifetime, and I had no idea it was going to be on, so I was thrilled when I came across it while flipping through channels. It was a nice surprise for a boring, rainy saturday afternoon. :)

Some fresh blood is turning up on CSI: NY.

Ex-Dawson's Creeker Kerr Smith and Shark's Bess Wohl are joining the cast as recurring players this season.

Smith, last seen in Fox's short-lived Justice, will play Drew Becker, an expert in forged documents and a love interest for Stella (Melina Kanakaredes). "Well, he pretends to be an expert in forged documents," clarifies executive producer Pam Veasey. "He has a mysterious background that we are slowly developing. He's a love interest who has an ulterior motive."

Meanwhile, Wohl, who, in addition to a two-episode stint on Shark has guest-starred on Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer, will play a new lab tech and a good friend of Adam's (A.J. Buckley).

For more CSI: NY prattle — including some good news for Danny/Lindsay-shippers — check out the post-press-tour edition of Ask Ausiello on Aug. 1.
