Katee's First Time
Katee's First Time
and also, i hate how they took out original songs and replaced them with lame ones for important scenes, i.e. s6 where joey goes to france and its going through her dialogue. the original song was the hollies -air that i breath and they replaced it. also so annoying!
and also...does anyone else find it strange that dawson seemed to deal with his parents divorce, his mom's infidelity, etc, unscathed but joey falling for pacey was the end of the world? does that make any sense to anyone?
Do you think that having sex ruined Joey and Pacey's relationship? I mean obviously there was a lot of stuff they needed to fix their relationship the first time around, but was it having sex that broke the camel's back? Would they have lasted longer or broken up sooner if they hadn't had sex when they did? Any thoughts?
Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up that Amazon has DC on sale for $24.99 for each season, except for s1 which is $19.99, so if you don't already own them and you'd like to then this could be a good time :) You can find all the 50% off dvds here (although I took the link from an email newsletter so not sure whether that link will work for others), and the individual links for s1, s2, s3, s4, s5, s6, as well as the series finale for $7.49.
Hope this is of some use to someone! :)
Ok, I'm ALex and I'm new here. Been a True Lover since Season 3 of DC, but sadly stopped watching the show at the end of S4. But a few months ago, I started to feel the love for PJ again. And I also hate Dawson and TinyTom!
So I'm new to this comm, but the posts are pretty entertaining, and you seem to share my dislike for James Van Der Beek. I thought I'd introduce myself with a little offering! I already posted this in a Veronica Mars comm, but I thought I should share the Pacey/Joey love with some fellow fans. I've been rediscovering Dawson's Creek and my love for Joey and Pacey, and I noticed quite a few similarities with Logan and Veronica. I thought that anyone else who used to watch Dawson's would get a kick out of it, hence the picspam, and hopefully it'll be entertaining even if you don't watch VM.
So here it is, hope you enjoy it!
Follow for copious amounts of Logan and Pacey love..
Oh, and comments are love :)
For (hopefully) one night only, you can see JVDB back on your television screen. Scary thought. He's going to be guest starring on the CBS show Crimial Minds this Sunday, the 4th, after the Super Bowl.
Sunday, February 4, After the Super Bowl
"The Behavioral Analysis Unit investigates when a wealthy couple is murdered in their home following a Super Bowl party. James van der Beek ("Dawson's Creek") guest stars as a troubled young man. CBS Sports announcers Jim Nantz and Phil Simms make cameo appearances..."
There is a picture of him on the top of this page looking like a creepy stalker. Honestly I think this may be a perfect character for him, Dawson has always creeped me out...
Joshua Jackson's movie, Aurora Borealis, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com. It will be released on April 3rd.
I love this movie! Monarch and I were lucky enough to see it in a theatre a couple months ago, and it was awesome. If you love Josh, this one is a must see, so go get your copy! =D
1) No one has posted anything for quite a while. Yes, I realize the show has been over for a while, so there isn't anything new to talk about, but I would like to keep this going as long as possible.
2) Despite the fact that we are a DC journal, we also have kept up on TomKat and how much we hate them. This very much fits that vein.
Go to the link. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
And make sure you read comment five. I think that is something we should do...just for funzies!
Love to my Girls!
Ronnie and Julie. I watched this tonight with my sister, whom I share the obsession with. I found the tape under my bed and FREAKED out-it's been so long! This movie is so cheesy and horrible, I love it. And he is hot, as always. It's a rip-off of Romeo and Juliet-and very bad rip-off, haha. I think it was made during the first season of DC? Or maybe RIGHT before it started...not sure. I can't tell by his look but...I'd like to know who else has seen this-let me know! :)
Some of you may have heard about Josh Jackson's newest movie, Bobby. It's kind of about Bobby Kennedy's assassination, and is supposed to be a huge movie because of it's awesome ensemble cast. So anyways, last monday whie surfing around on all of my favorite sites, I found out that there was going to be a special preview screening up in Seattle on the 6th and that Josh would be there for a Q&A session afterwards. Of course by the time I found out about it, it was already sold out, but I decided that I had to go anyways just on the off chance that I may "accidentally" run into him outside or something. I recruited my bestest partner in crime, Monarch, to come with me. Despite what she may want people to believe, she didn't put up much of a fight. In fact I believe she encouraged it.
So last night I headed up to Seattle, and we found the mall and theater where the screening was being held. We were two hours early, ya know, just in case. So we stood around, and then had dinner (making sure we could still see the theater of course), and then stood around some more. While we were eating, this huge line started forming outside the theater, and we discovered after walking up and down it that it was for Bobby.
During the standing around, two really cute guys came up to us and asked what the line was for, so we told them, and long story short, they ended up standing with us making fun of us and Dawson's Creek, and James Van Der Beek. It was awesome. They invited us to go see Borat with them, but we said we wanted to wait a little more, and they told us to say hi to Josh for them if we ever saw him. *hurray for cute boys*
While we were being distracted by the boys, the line had started to head inside, and by the time they left, the line was gone. So then we had to decide if we should wait more, or just go home. Eventually we decided that Monarch should go ask the ticket guys if there were anymore tickets, ya know, just in case. They didn't know, but told her to go talk to the lady running it who was inside. So she did, and they basicly told her that there weren't any more ticket, but there were seats, so if we were interested, we could just head on in! It was that easy! Almost surreal. So in we went, down to the first and a half row. We were right there! It was awesome!
So, we're sitting there in shock that we got in, and then a guy came down to the front and did the "good news/bad news" thing. The good news was that we were going to be the first people to see the movie, the bad news was that due to the huge rainstorm that day, Josh's flight was delayed and he wasn't going to make it. :( We made it all the way to the front row, and the damn rain ruined it for us! I've never been more upset with the fact that I live in western Washington.
So that was our story about how we almost met Joshua Jackson...
It was a little disappointing because we didn't get to meet him after all that hard work to get there, but at least we got to see the movie for free. It was a pretty good movie too. You should all go see it! =)
Next time Josh is anywhere near Seattle, I am going to meet him. I don't care what it takes. I was so so close, now I know I can actually do it. Then my life will be complete...hee.

I'll be sure to post the info before the show next time just in case any of you would like to join us ;)

Seeing Joshua Jackson up on the big screen- Priceless!
So, we saw a good movie today. It had this actor you may have heard of, Joshua Jackson! Of all the movies Josh has been in post-DC, Aurora Borealis is by far the best, and definitly our favorite. This could be attributed to the fact that his character has many Pacey-like qualities. He's a kind-hearted slacker with a lot of daddy issues.
We say this completely without bias, when we say that Josh made this movie amazing. Okay, so maybe a little bias...but he was still totally hot. And the movie itself was very well done, also. It had many elements: comedy, a love story, families coming together, conflict, and high emotion. We walked away from this movie speechless. As long as you can tolerate Juliette Lewis, you will enjoy this movie. Even we were able to ignore her for the most part and focus on Josh. Not that that is hard to do...
Without a doubt, if you get a chance to see this movie, go! Loving Josh as we do makes this movie special to us, but I would recommend it to anyone.
If you do get a chance to see it, let us know, we would love to chat about it.

I found this at http://pjls.tripod.com/fan.html, and thought it was appropriate...and shamedly accurate...
Your computer is unbelievably slow because of the amount of space devoted to Pacey, Joey and Dawson's Creek.
You spend countless hours looking up fanfic and regularly checking to see if it was updated
You talk about the cast of Dawson's Creek as if you really knew them
After periods of hiatus and mini-hiatus, and you see the show again it's like seeing old friends again
You read into everything that Pacey and Joey say...including insults (ex: but her come-backs just have so much passion!)
You swear that during the "The Scare" episode that when Joey hit Ursula's boyfriend with the pan, she was doing it because she wanted to protect Pacey..because she cared!
You know every single dialogue between Pacey and Joey.
You know there is some chemistry the way Joey says "Bite me Pacey"
Every time you see Joey melting for Dawson, you scream to yourself, "But she coulda had Pacey!"
You have venom for every woman that Pacey dates that isn't Joey
You have read every single Joey/Pacey FanFic online until they all become one big montage of story
You've read the Fan Fic stories so often that you swear that the storylines actually happened on the show.
You believe that they look sooo good together and that they deserve each other.
You know their personalities are so intuned with each other..(ex: their cut-downs, the way they give Dawson advice, how they mask emotion with sarcastic humor...)
I remember an episode where Joey meets someone, a rich someone, during tourist season at Capeside and she pretends to be on holiday (and wealthy I think) as well and mentions some restaurant in NYC that she goes to go along with her story of who she is. And when she asks Brodey about the name of it (toward the end of the episode) and finds out that it is no longer open. She then drops the guys phone number on the ground as they drive away.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, what season is that from? I been watching the dvd's pretty much non-stop since I got them, and I'm now up to season 5 and don't remember seeing this particular episode, BUT it was on The-N recently and that reminded me that I hadn't seen it on the dvd's yet. I thought it was from when they were in high school.
( clap hard Dawson, you may be tinkerbell's last hopeCollapse )
He sleeps with teachers...
..."borrows" the Witter Wagoneer...
...throws infamous parties with strippers...
...steals Joey's heart...
...and all of ours!
Oh Pacey, if loving you is wrong, we don't wanna be right!
Note: I couldn't figure out how to make this a link on the main page (like totheharbor did with the M's of DC) so that's why the whole thing comes up. If anybody could let me know how to do that, it would be greatly appreciated! :)
